People change. So do i. We cant expect each of us to be the same person we were years ago. We have all grown up. We take on different paths in life. We meet new people and make new friends.
Remember those promises of keeping in touch, promises of meeting up regularly? Easy to keep at the start but as time goes by, meeting up weekly became meeting up monthly, then once a few months until it comes to a point when you stop contacting each other.
People come and go in our lives. Who's here to stay and who's leaving. We dont know. We can have many many friends in our life. But sometimes all we really need is a few that you can trust and turn to when in need. And thats all we need. Its inevitable that some of us will drift apart.
Theres nothing much we can do and sometimes, i guess we just got to learn to accept it.
From strangers to acquaintances and gradually to someone who you turn to when in need. And
yet people whom you were close to could become a stranger to you someday. Its sad how people you know become people you knew.
We see the changes before our very eyes. some are for the better, some are for the worse. Yet, there's nothing much we can do to stop these changes.
